Lizzie is a recent new customer of mine, and this is what she thinks of her Cosy Shopper.
‘I use it every time I go to a supermarket. It’s so cosy and comforting for my baby, instead of her sliding about on those hard trolley seats!’
Thanks Lizzie.
Lisa’s invention is a hit with some well known faces…
Hundreds of mums around the country have already discovered The Cosy Shopper and have let us know how much they love the concept, but the innovative baby-product has been recently getting positive feedback of the celebrity kind!

The brainchild of busy mum-of-two Lisa Marie Penn, the Cosy Shopper is a dual-purpose fleece-lined seat cover for use on supermarket baby seats and car seats. A first-time mother in 2003, Lisa now faced the problem of doing her weekly grocery shop with a little one in tow. If you are a fellow mum, you will know that the supermarket trolley seats you’re expected to use are cold, hard and often dirty. It’s no surprise that mothers baulk against having to lay their precious newborn on a bed of germs. And they’re not the only ones – the babies themselves often let us know they’re not happy by using their new-found lungs!
The Cosy Shopper has recently burst onto the scene of the mainstream baby retail market, and as a result is now stocked on Mothercare’s website.
The childcare retail giant was really impressed with Lisa’s product and now have it available to purchase on their online store. This is obviously a huge step for the brand, as it will gain a great deal of exposure from being on the site, which will be accessed by millions of users a day.
The Cosy Shopper has recently reached the furthest corner of the globe, and is now being sold by companies in New Zealand and Australia. This is an exciting development for Lisa and her business, as the product is beginning to gain more momentum in the push from national exposure in Britain to being nudged into the limelight worldwide.
After stumbling on her product by chance over the Internet, several companies from the other side of the world contacted Lisa and asked for a sample to be sent to them. After reading about her journey from initial bright idea to the first prototype, and all the way through to her appearance on Dragon’s Den, they were intrigued and wanted to enquire further about the product.
